Modern tub chair

This chair had been painted with fabric paint which had become crusty and was now rubbing off. I replaced this with gorgeous wool fabric which is ideal for fitting around the curves of a tub chair. The process of upholstering a chair like this is more like tailoring - I draped the fabric over the chair and hand stitched it into shape, before removing it and machine stitching. I finished it off with some topstitching on all the seams.
