A pair of antique barrel back chairs

Both of these amazing chairs had to be stripped down to the frame, reinforced and then built back up again using traditional techniques. Each flute is hand stitched into place and required a lot of mathematical planning to ensure the tapered shape worked with the pattern of the fabric.
