Victorian bouncy nursing chair

My client asked me to reupholster her mother's unique nursing chair - it has an iron frame on the back that is attached to the seat only in two places. This gives the back a sprung action - perfect for nursing a baby. I stripped the chair to its frame and reupholstered it using techniques that are in keeping with the chair's age - I used coconut coir, horsehair and hessian to reconstruct the chair's upholstery. I covered it in a lovely soft green and used my client's mother's original fabric for the buttons.
